Fundraising at Buckby House

Recently Buckby House held a charitable fundraiser for Cancer Research UK, a charity close to all our hearts. Initially the plan started out as a cake sale with some garden games. This quickly grew to a BBQ and the games included sumo-suits and some of the team ending up in the stocks….covered in beans and custard! This was a great day that exceeded all our expectations and the young people were fantastic and incredibly generous. Initially targeting fundraising of £50, the day went on to raise over 3 times that amount with a whopping £177.45 raised. 

 

The generosity from those who couldn’t make it to the event still making donations just couldn’t make me more proud to be part of homes2inspire. A great way to have fun and to help so many others.
