Eversley House opened in 2010 and provides accommodation for up to five young people, both male and female. The home is located in the Kingsley area of Northampton and is situated within local amenities including, shops, banks, Post Office, and cafes, local bus service and health centre. The home is within the Kingsthorpe College, Northampton College Secondary School and Northampton School for Girls Secondary School catchment area and close to Northampton College of Further Education.

Young People:

“Staff try and make me stay in bed and take medicine when needed”

Young Person:

“It’s the longest time I have ever stayed anywhere, the staff really look after you and support you through some difficult times.”

Kate Scoltock

Eversley House is managed by Kate Scoltock. Kate has worked in residential settings, including secure for over 10 years. Her background is in education and special needs and Kate advocates strongly on behalf of the young people in her care. She firmly believes that all young people should receives their full education entitlement and have the same opportunities and aspirations as their peers outside of the care system. 

 

Kate holds QCF Level 5 in Leadership in Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services.
