Magnolia House opened in June 2014, it provides comfortable accommodation for up to five young people (EBD). The home is situated on main road on the outskirts of Bicester town and is approximately one mile from the town centre which can be reached by foot or a regular bus service. There are several local shops within walking distance and a number of supermarkets (some offering a wide range of various cultural foods) are a short walk away. The location offers good local amenities, including a doctor’s surgery, chemist, and a number of churches, library, convenience store, newsagents, post office and a local bus service.

Kim Murray

Magnolia House is managed by Kim Murray. Kim has 11 years’ experience working with children and young people in a residential setting, 9 of these years have been in either a supervisory role or management of staff. Kim attained qualifications in QCF Level 5, Leadership & Management for the Health & Social Care Children & Young People Services. Kim also holds an Enhanced Child Counselling diploma.

 

Kim is an extremely passionate manager who thrives on the progression and success of each individual child/young person that has been placed at Magnolia House.
